First of all, yes, we are talking about two brotherly peoples. Historically, Kyiv was the historical capital of the Russians, who originate from the dynasty of the Rus. The territory of Ukraine, as it is now, was included during the Soviet era and even earlier during Lenin's time, areas with purely Russian populations both in terms of consciousness and language, which today account for about 17% of the total population. From the time of Catherine the Great until 1800, Ukraine is not mentioned anywhere. During the dissolution of the Soviet Union, a part of it as a country is Ukraine. The Ukrainians, we would say as an ethnicity, are around Kyiv, and to the north is a part from Hungary, a part from Poland, and one from Romania. The Ukrainians wanted to create a national state with a unified language, etc., so they suppressed the peoples so that they would not speak Russian, abolished schools, and with the fascist battalions of Azov, they imposed their fascism through violence and murders; the victims reach 14,000, which no one talks about. The provinces, mainly Donetsk, wanted to secede. In short, the Minsk agreements 1 and 2 (2014-2015) were created, which the Ukrainians naturally violated with the support of the Americans, Germans, French, and English. Today, what Russia is asking for is to secure its borders because all these colonialists do not hide it; see the statements of Kaja Kallas, who wants to dismember Russia. Campaigns against Russia have been conducted by the French with Napoleon, the Germans with Hitler, and the English and French in 1854 during the Crimean War. Russia reached Berlin first, losing 25 million people in World War II, and let us not forget that alongside Hitler's German army, many Ukrainians fought, and half of France allied with Hitler's Vichy government. Today, when you have nothing to offer your people in terms of prosperity, what you do is create an enemy and wage war, undermining some democratic freedoms. It was a fact that neoliberalism (the fascism of capitalism) would lead to this situation. Who benefits from this? The military industries. That is why these little leaders in Europe want to turn them into war industries, thus serving foreign interests. This is one reason why the far-right is rising, which, apart from its different rhetoric, aligns perfectly with the extreme conservative center. The cowardice is also demonstrated by Merkel, who stated that they made the Minsk agreement to deceive Putin, so that Ukraine could be armed, while at the same time receiving cheap natural gas from Russia to strengthen its economy in Europe, and even borrowing at 0% interest, dismantling Southern Europe and primarily Greece, which, with the memoranda, has been devastated, with its debt rising from 120 billion to 600 billion (without the need for war). Today, the people of Ukraine should demand their self-determination, free from all these burdens in the style of Zelensky, to reach an agreement with the democratic forces of Europe and with Russia, and not to recognize any debt that oppresses the country.
