Anyone who feels addressed. I had this discussion some months ago about the governments led by Berlusconi and Erdogan and how powerless the people are. Now the people of Switzerland got the power to decide something.
We in Germany are just called to decide about dumb things, like if we want to keep one of the 3 airports in Berlin or if we want parking lots to be payed. Nothing important, just placebo direct democracy, in my opinion.

The interesting point is: it is the first moment (as far as I know) that a crucial decision is given to the people, not to the government.
Isn't it what John Lennon sung: "Power to the People"? Isn't it what you all are yearning for, that the governments in Italy, Turkey etc. are *truly* giving the power to the people, a true democracy?
Now the people decided, and you all think they decided wrong. A Bavarian politician said immediately afterwards: "Oh well, it didn't run well, the people shouldn't have the power to decide." Do you agree?

you are being more than cryptic.
and, no I am not wrong, this IS a bad metaphor. As I have shown below.. but I guess you are as stubborn or ingnorant as I am, so you can't be corrected either.
also, you are right. i need to read more.

Okay!!! Who are you really??? and what do you do???

I am really me. And I am just sitting in a library and study for my exam (or write these text messages). Who are you really? And what do you do?

I don't believe you!!! :) If even so, you must stop gap and read a few book there or draw more cartoon. (still you are wrong and it's imposibble correct you)
Remove the blinkers anymore!!!
PS: Blinkers is a metaphor... and is reason to look from a narrow perspective!!!

.. I could offer a link to a blog collecting all illustrations harry clarke did for a E.A. Poe Anthology. (I know that the usual currency here is portraits, but I don't do those)

as a result; People use condom to protect from anything that feared them. Condom is a metaphor here!!! ;)

that's what I understood too :)) but some do not understand here

... My point was to criticize the metaphors used in this cartoon. If you think about them a bit you notice that they are not well chosen. There is nothing here to show that this is the way that Swiss people think but not the artist.
and.. Menekse.. stopping to use condoms because you're fear of aids limits your relation to others still is not a good idea. So... another case of ill-conceived metaphor.
