.I love this innovative and cool front design! Sendai Subway 1000 Series were constructed from 1985 to 1996. All 1000 Series consist of only 4 coachs carriages as users are not many. 84 coachs(21 formations) were constructed and have been in service on Nanboku-Line since 1987. Both ends coachs of 1000 Series length is 22m and in-between coachs is 20m. Its control system is Fuzzy control(one kind of chopper control) that control its acceleration and deceleration automatically. Since 2004, 1000 Series have been renewed into 1000N Series subsequently. 1000N Series have VVVF control system and improved some respects.
