This is a reaction to and summary of Kathleen Parker's editorial on family violence appearing in the Cincinnati Enquirer on 26 Jun 2008. She dispels the main myth about domestic violence, the premise being that men are the only perpetrators. She concludes that demonizing men is not a sufficient remedy to problems of violence in the family. That demonization has been enforced through the Violence Against Women Act (V.A.W.A.) in the United States. The pink temple is modeled after the chapel at the Air Force Academy which bears a striking resemblance to a woman's vulva and clitoral hood. It's funny that the U.S.A.F., of which I am a veteran, decided to use vast government resources to build a structure on its shining campus that resembles 'pussy'. But we should not be too surprised that there now exists a temple to match the Air Force dress blue cover affectionately called the "cunt cap".
