The Seven Years' War (1756–1763) in India resulted in the defeat of the French forces. Robert Clive, the Governor General, led the East India Company to a victory against Joseph François Dupleix, the commander of the French forces in India, and recaptured Fort St George from the French.
I suspect that Clive learned the rudiments of battle using canons from the local experts in elephant craft...

Robert Clive, der Generalgouverneur führte die East India Company zu einem Sieg gegen Joseph François Dupleix, der Kommandant der Streitkräfte Französisch in Indien, und eroberte Fort St. George aus dem Französisch. Ich vermute, dass Clive die Grundlagen der Schlacht mit Kanonen aus dem lokalen Experten Elefant Handwerk .. Ha ha ha gelernt!. 

Robert Clive, le gouverneur général, a dirigé la Compagnie des Indes orientales à une victoire contre Joseph François Dupleix, le commandant des forces françaises en Inde, et reprennent le Fort St George à partir de la version française. Je suppose que Clive a appris les rudiments du combat à l'aide de canons les experts locaux dans des bateaux de l'éléphant .. Ha ha ha!. 

Ho il sospetto che Clive imparato i rudimenti del combattimento con canoni da parte degli esperti locali in materia di mezzi di elefante .. ah ah ah!. 
