Someone in a wheelchair once told me that insurance would only pay for the cost of a wheelchair once in a lifetime. In case of accidents, etc he would be left sitting with his problem. And my sister suffers from groats on her head, which can be very painful to the touch. The cost of their removal is not covered by health insurance, as this is only considered cosmetic surgery. Well... why constantly have to pay horror prices every month when we could easily put money aside ourselves every month for emergencies? Then we could decide for ourselves WHEN it makes sense to spend that money and when it doesn't.
