Thanks for you comment. FIY the squirrel in picture is one that used to dig up my tulip bulbs in the spring. I discouraged this activity by spraying him with the hose when he came in the yard. The squirrel persisted but was much more on guard when approaching the yard. It adopted stealth tactics so as to avoid getting the hose. This included lying on top of the fence and watching to see if I would appear before making a lighting raid on the garden. The intense look you might detect resulted when the squirrel caught sight of me, this time with a camera instead of a hose. It wasm't quite sure what I was doing so it simply kept a safe distance and watched intently. It waited until I went indoors before it made it's move into the flower bed, thinking it was safe to dig a few bulbs.
What it didn't know was that I had laid a trap. I was set up a pulsing sprinkler near the flower bed but turned the water to the outside tap off at a cut off vale inside the house. From that valve inside I could see the yard out my back door. When I spotted the squirrel in the garden, I turned on the water, the sprinkler came on and chaos ensued. It really funny to see the squirrel running around the yard trying to avoid jets of water spurting from the sprinkler. It would have made a great video to put on YouTube. That finally convinced the squirrel that there was no safe time to come and dig up our tulips and it finally left them alone.
