Die Inflation bei Eiern stieg im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum auf 60,4 % und im Vergleich zum Vormonat auf 5,9 %. In den letzten drei Wochen ist der Großhandelspreis für ein Dutzend Eier laut einem Bericht des United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) jedoch auf 3,26 $ gesunken.

Egg prices in the U.S. had recently surged, reaching nearly 7$ a dozen in early March, driven by factors like egg price inflation and seasonal demand. Egg inflation increased to 60.4% compared to the same period last year and 5.9% compared to the previous month.

However, in the past three weeks, the wholesale price for a dozen eggs has dropped to $3.26, according to a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) report.

But most of the chickens came away empty-handed
