He was born in 1971 in Denizli. He was introduced to cartoons and comic magazines in his primary school years. His first drawings were published at Gırgır magazine, when he was a high school student. He entered Anadolu University, Fine Arts Faculty, Graphic department in 1988. He graduated in 1993 and moved to Istanbul. His works were published in a variety of national and international catalogues and exhibitions. He won 14 national and international prizes in the field of cartoon and illustration. He continues drawing cartoons, illustrations and comics, for various publishers, agencies and magazines since 1993.
