The newspaper that publishes my cartoons “Eleftherotypia” despite being a (if not *the*) major newspaper in Athens and Greece is in dire straits and on the verge of closing down. I personally haven’t been paid for last 6 months. My bank savings are evaporating fast! Unfortunately “Eleftherotypia” is not alone in crisis, all media in Greece are experiencing problems, as is the whole country indeed, as you probably might have heard…

Well… I thought the only way for me to continue working is to look outward. Yes, I am contemplating of seeking outlets for my cartoons internationally. I do not know in what form my actions will have… some sort of representation... or syndication... or direct contact with editors… publishers… etc... I am still feeling the field… Unfortunately time grows short and I have to do something concrete soon...

Here comes the point of this note. I thought of using Toonpool as a way to find what to do… with whom… and how… So please if you have any offers, proposals or even ideas, suggestions, etc I will be all too happy to receive them…

I already have a stock of more than 600 cartoons, and a new one is added every week… Some of them you can see here in my pages in Facebook… I would be very happy to provide further samples you might require… And of course the artwork for print will be provided in high quality vector format of your choice (pdf, eps, ai, cdr, etc…)

For this you must make some GREAT ROMANIAN PERSONALITIES and send its at address from web site. Computer art must have resolution 300 dpi for size 21x30 cm or more

The king is dead… long live the king!
The 9 (cartoon) magazine of the Eleftherotypia newspaper, of which I was a proud cartoonist from the very first issue to the last, after 10 full and wonderful years and 513 issues is now part of history (temporarily or permanently, only time will tell).
And a new cartoon section started on last Saturday’s Eleftherotypia called «Κομικςοδρόμιο» (“Comicdrom”) and our best wishes go to it!...
And yes (phew!) etc continues there! I post here the first cartoon published this past Saturday…
