Hi Roy, your little gift for no. 16,000 has been shipped today:) Now I wonder how long it will take to get in your hands. It has to cross the Alps, the Mediterranean Sea (maybe a post steamer or friendly fishermen will carry it over), friendly Bedouins will transport it over the Sahara's dunes before it has to survive the Central African jungle to reach you down there finally:)

Yeah... visual facilitation is kind of like court illustrating.

With interpretation.

I sit in the room, analyzing the ideas flying around, and grabbing them onto my tablet pc. It's a complex tug-of-war between making a decent set of pictures, and ensuring that enough informational content is captured.

The end result is used as a visual notepad by people who were at a meeting or conference. It's for them to reference for facts and ideas. And it's also a visual 'anchor' helping people to remember what was going on.

Another difference between this and courtroom sketching is that I use a video projector hooked up to my tablet pc, so as I paint, the work is projected live on a big screen.

I have to agree that it is a pretty darn special occupation.

If you have any talent for it, I recommend getting into it. It's VERY lucrative. VERY VERY lucrative.

visual facilitator? so this is comparable to the person who makes scribbles of criminals in the court? I think you add a story to the scribbe.
